I've always cherished that Walter Franco song... I first heard it in a radio show Tim Gane and someone else (Jeremy Novak?) co-hosted. I never found the source for this particular version though. Walter Franco re-recorded that song a bit later in his career and that's the version you most commonly find on the net... Any help?

Hi Joe, I emailed Jeremy and he said - "That track is from a Som Livre compilation I picked up in Brazil, it has a generic looking sleeve and it's not on any of his albums. I was lucky enough to find a copy at a street market in Sao Paulo, and would never have known of the track if I hadn't been hipped by a record shop owner I was befriended by (Baratos Afins is the shop).
And I was indeed the co-host of that radio show with Tim, so that makes sense. "

Wow! Mystery solved, thanx a million! This track really blew my mind when Jeremy first played it on that radio show. I've been looking for the info ever since...
The hunt for the record is on!
Thanks for getting me into Walter Franco's music.

The mix is really great btw.
